The role will be interesting and varied and will involve; Hands-on robot programming, coordination of robot programming activities, working on process planning of existing contracts, providing process engineering support for new business quote proposals, liaising with like mined customer and supplier engineers to develop and integrate robot control interface to client specification and assist in the development and training of junior and apprentice engineers.
The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in;
- Robot programming (predominantly ABB Robots)
- Experience within the automotive sector
- To have & knowledge & understanding of robot control interface with ancillary equipment
- Use of robot simulation packages would be of benefit
- Permanent position (not contract)
- Remuneration to reflect experience and qualification
